A Pre-Primary School and Training Centre At Dum Dum Park

Adopted a school, running in Dum Dum Park with 70 students, 6 staff. This initiative entails providing free education to the children, providing mid-day meals, taking care of their basic necessities, conducting yearly health camps for the students and their families and also providing remunerations to the staff and taking care of the school infrastructure.

 

Digital Learning in Howrah

We are running a Computer lab running in Howrah with 600+ students, under the vertical Shiksha.The programme engages them in new age technology and latest skill-enabled training and also makes computers a part of regular teaching and learning. This contributes to computer literacy among school students including the curriculum, infrastructure, and evaluation system making them future-ready.

 

Project Mama

A training centre running in Sundarbans with 20 female trainees (Tiger Widows) under vertical Shakti to promote women empowerment and self-dependency. The project is currently run by 1 trainer. Through this initiative, the tiger widows and their families, and their children are to be saved through the activity. The project is to train young women in sewing and after they achieve the skillset to stitch clothes and make ready-made garments, the products will be marketed through corporate houses and giving them employment and survival with dignity.

 

Digital Learning during Covid 19 crisis

Promoting digital learning of 100 female students in Malda under vertical Shiksha by providing e-learning devices and monthly internet subscriptions.In rural areas, students often struggle to achieve the same educational standards as more densely populated regions. This initiative gave empowerment to the rural students and access to quality education and also encourage the female students.

 

Education Enablement Programme

Promoting literacy to economically backward children by adopting a child and taking the responsibility of that particular child's education, and basic nutrition. Currently, we have 12 students registered under this programme backed up by individuals who continue to support them year after year.

 

Healthcare/ Nutritional Support

Currently we are providing basic health care and financial support to 6 families and 1 orphanage to eliminate hunger. Our support programs and initiatives provide nourishment, as well as basic healthcare support to the people suffering and coming from the underserved section of our society.

 

Project Parivartan

A village adoption program under which we have adopted 3 villages in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, with the aim to provide free education, along with nutritional meals to all the children of these villages, and to give basic health care support. The approximate number of children in these villages is 140+. In the later stage of this project, we also aim to build schools in the villages to cater to these students and to also run training.
