Prayatna grew out of a vision of minimizing social injustice towards women and children and empowering them with adequate education and training. The organization is at its nascent stage and aims at bettering the lives of the needful around. It believes in the global movement for Shiksha, Shakti, and Swasthya.

Together we aim at creating a difference in the lives of all those who deserve it. We believe in the fact that : "The secret of a change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new."
